1. Description of Service

DeepDesk is an AI-powered document assistant that connects to your Google Drive and lets you search, import, and ask questions about your documents in plain English. Supported file types include Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and plain text files.

DeepDesk currently supports Google Drive only. Support for Notion and Slack is coming soon.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms under applicable law. If you use DeepDesk on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security issues.

4. Google Drive Access

DeepDesk requests access to your Google Drive only after you grant permission through Google's OAuth consent flow. You control whether to grant or revoke this permission at any time.

DeepDesk uses Google Drive access solely to provide user-facing features including file selection, document import, text extraction, search, AI answers, and source citations. DeepDesk does not claim ownership of your Google Drive files and does not modify, delete, or move any file in your Drive.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of all documents, files, prompts, and content you provide or import into DeepDesk. You grant DeepDesk a limited license to process, store, transmit, and use your content solely as necessary to provide and maintain the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload, import, and process any content you use with DeepDesk.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Upload or process content you do not have rights to use
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service
  • Use the service to create malware, spam, phishing, or harmful content
  • Violate third-party rights, privacy, or intellectual property
  • Use the service in a way that violates Google's policies or applicable laws

7. AI-Generated Responses

DeepDesk uses AI to generate answers based on your imported documents. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should verify important information before relying on it for decisions.

DeepDesk is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for all decisions made based on AI-generated output.

8. Fees and Payments

DeepDesk currently offers a free tier. Paid plans are being introduced. When paid features are available, pricing, billing cycles, cancellation terms, and refund policies will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees associated with your use of paid features.

9. Third-Party Services

DeepDesk relies on third-party providers including Google APIs, authentication providers, cloud hosting, database services, AI providers, and analytics tools. Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy below. By using DeepDesk, you agree that we may process your information as described in that policy.

11. Data Deletion Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and imported documents at any time. To request deletion, contact us at hardiksahu43@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

12. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

13. Intellectual Property

DeepDesk, including its software, design, branding, logos, and related materials, is owned by Hardik Sahu or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the service or our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service without our written permission.

14. Termination

You may stop using DeepDesk at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, misuse the service, or if required by law. Sections covering ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

15. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability. We do not guarantee that AI responses will always be correct or that all document content will be extracted perfectly.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hardik Sahu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to use the service in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hardik Sahu from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
